We’re finally able to add stairlifts to our “transparent pricing” philosophy. We try very hard to answer all your questions and give a very detailed outline of our process. We hope this information helps families make those very important decisions that are necessary for staying safely in your own home.
New stairlift dealership for Promise HomeWorks!
We’ve spent the past few years creating our own expert team, capable of handling every aspect of home accessibility; three bathroom modification crews, one ramp crew, we’re certified installers of ceiling lifts and even vertical platform lifts for wheelchairs. The one area we’ve struggled – until now – is stairlifts. We’re very happy to announce that we are dealers for the best and largest stairlift manufacturer, built right here in the US, Bruno Stairlifts – https://www.bruno.com/
Our process for stairlifts;
There are several important factors to consider when contemplating a stairlift;
- The length of your staircase.
- The width of your staircase. Bruno stairlifts fold up very tightly to the wall when not in use, so can be installed where other stairlifts won’t fit.
- Location of the very lowest point of the stairlift rail. It is important to consider whether the rail might cause a tripping hazard. If this is an issue, one solution is a “folding” rail.
We really prefer to send our installer to review all these issues, but if the above criteria all fall in line, a stairlift can be completely installed for around three thousand dollars.
Curved lifts are sometimes necessary and these actually do require a site visit. Curved lifts normally fall in the range of $9000 – $15000 and are custom made to fit your exact stair configuration. A photographic program is used that recreates a computer image of every inch of your staircase.
